At Moving Forward, residents often work on learning, practicing, and eventually mastering the skills needed for cooking a delicious, home cooked meal. These skills include everything from planning the meal to serving the plated food, and everything else in between. Residents also work on specific cooking skills such as chopping, peeling, and breading chicken (as seen here).
Moving Forward resident, Greg, who lives in the Community Living program at Moving Forward Towards Independence recently cooked a meal of breaded chicken with a side salad. He shows us just how fun and satisfying cooking with confidence can be when the skills have been learned. Practice makes perfect. Looks delicious, Greg!
